Leaving Afghanistan: Professional/Educated Afghan Women in Diaspora after Taliban 2.0

Digital Exhibit | Tulane University Libraries
Duration: Ongoing
Exhibit Link: https://exhibits.tulane.edu/exhibit/leaving-afghanistan/collection/

In this digital exhibit, Afghan women's views and voices are centered through a collection of their own photographs and captions from a larger interview-based project with professional/educated Afghan women in diaspora and exile. After being interviewed, we asked if they would provide captioned personal photos that best represented:  1) their life in Afghanistan, 2) leaving Afghanistan, and 3) their life now in other countries, living as refugees, asylees, or other newcomers.
