Tulane brings the world to New Orleans, with students and faculty from 86 countries. Tulane teaches every subject with a global academic perspective. Students engage with transnational business, global public health and comparative law. They immerse themselves in other cultures at the Stone Center for Latin American Studies or in the Altman Program for International Business. Tulane trains new generations of leaders to work across borders, to understand other cultures, and to use diverse perspectives to solve the world’s problems.
Sending Tulane to the World. A third of our undergraduate students study abroad. Our graduate students conduct research, do clinical placements and enroll in Tulane summer programs all over the world. The world is Tulane’s classroom.
Making a Global Impact. Tulane scholars teach our students to solve the problems of the world, from looking for the cure to Ebola in Sierra Leone to discovering the origins of humankind in a cave in South Africa. Tulane has offices across sub-Saharan Africa and is renowned for founding public health and medical schools. Tulane faculty inspire our students to make a difference here in New Orleans and in countries across the globe.
