Study Abroad Fair

The Tulane Study Abroad Fair showcases the study abroad opportunities that are available to Tulane students, while also highlighting the experiences of study abroad alumni, international students and visiting exchange students. Come to the Study Abroad fair to visit with representatives from programs around the world as well as Tulane departments and faculty that run international programs.

The 2020 Study Abroad Fair will take place in mid-October--stay tuned for dates and more information. See below for details on our 2019 fair to get an idea of fair attendance:

Stone Center for Latin American Studies - 

The Stone Center for Latin American Studies at Tulane offers three exciting opportunities for students to immerse themselves in Latin American cultures and languages this coming summer:

Summer in Cuba, co-sponsored by the Cuban and Caribbean Studies Institute, is a four-week program targeting Tulane undergraduates. Participants will earn 6 credits in Latin American Studies, Spanish, History, and/or Public Health while experiencing firsthand the rich culture and history of Havana and its surroundings. Summer in Brazil provides intensive Portuguese-language instruction to students at the intermediate and advanced levels. Coordinated by CET São Paulo, the program allows students to hone their language skills while exploring one of Brazil’s most vibrant cultural centers. The Mayan Language Institute enables students to learn either Kaqchikel or K’iche’ Maya by practicing with native speakers. Headquartered in Antigua, Guatemala, the program offers courses at the beginning, intermediate, advanced levels, all of which are taught through collaboration between U.S.-based experts and local teachers. UPCES Cerge-EI - A Semester- long study abroad opportunity in Prague, Czech Republic. This one-of-a-kind program is held in our own building, once a former palace! We are an affiliated program with Charles University, one of the oldest in Europe. We offer a variety of highly transferable course offerings in humanities and social sciences.
