We're excited to share an entry from the first edition of the OSA Magazine, the Global Observer. Read the rest of the Global Observer at the link above!

"Black Hercules," by Zharia Jeffries

Zharia is a Junior studying English and Communications who studied abroad on the Senegal and New Orleans: Atlantic Connections Program during the Summer 2017. This summer, the program will move to the Dominican Republic where students will study Migration, Race and Identity.

The Global Observer is a print and online publication committed to exploring global issues and trends. Written by Tulane students, alumni, faculty or staff authors of diverse backgrounds and perspectives, each print issue will explore a theme. Our goal is to collect a myriad of writing that will illustrate the similarities and differences of region, geography and citizenship. The magazine's inaugural issue theme is Tourism.
