This OISS orientation is intended for international students who are beginning the Master's of Finance, Master's of Management and Master's of Management in Energy programs.
During your orientation with the A.B. Freeman School of Business, the Office of International Students and Scholars (OISS) will introduce our staff and a variety of resources for your stay here at Tulane University, and will provide you with important information you need to maintain your immigration status and learn about U.S. culture. This information should help you ,whether this is your first time in the U.S. or you have studied here already. The orientation also provides a wonderful opportunity for you to meet other international students and it is a great way for you to begin your Tulane experience. All international students must attend an OISS International Student Orientation.
OISS International Student Orientation is designed to help you comply with government regulations pertaining to your stay in the U.S. and become comfortable with the local community and U.S. culture.
Studies show the benefits of participating in orientation programs. Faculty members and advisors see a marked difference in the preparedness and success of students who have participated in orientation.
