Lifelong Global Citizenship

By the time you graduate, you will have developed the intercultural skills, knowledge and mindset to be a Global Citizen. How will you apply those skills to your life after graduation and continue to seek out global experiences?

What do global experiences look like after I graduate?

  • Seek out globally-minded communities (Rotary, language meet ups, etc.)
  • Attend international cultural events (festivals, films, music, etc.)
  • Intercultural travel (seek out opportunities to connect/engage with local communities while traveling rather than just being a tourist, ecotourism, etc.)
  • Apply for an international internship or volunteer experience
  • Seek out international offices at local universities to find out how to welcome international students, faculty and staff to your community
  • Volunteer locally, such as at refugee resettlement organizations or at local universities welcoming new international students
