The Center for Global Education (CGE) is proud to celebrate International Education Week from October 14th - 18th! CGE and Tulane University support all internationalization and exchange efforts on our campus. Our partners from around the world, along with Tulane students, faculty and staff are all encouraged to participate in and recognize this important week of programming in celebration of the vibrant global community that has been cultivated on our campus. International Education Week is a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education and is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. CGE will be hosting a variety of events during IEW, including the Study Abroad Fair on 10/16 and several talks and workshops surrounding Tulane’s contribution to an international student and scholar community. International food stations will also be available in the LBC. This year, food from countries with the largest international student populations at Tulane will be offered each day at the 1834 Club as well as “Chef’s Table” in the Dining Room at the Commons--see below for a schedule of featured international cuisines!
A global chef from Sodexo will be visiting Tulane campus next Monday and Tuesday and will be featuring some of his native Polish dishes out of the Chef’s Table in the Commons on Monday, October 14 from 11am-2pm and 5pm-6pm, as well as out of 1834 Club on Tuesday, October 15th. The Sodexo Global Chef program visits Tulane once or twice a year--be sure to check it out!

10.14 Monday – China - Moo Shu Pork, Roasted Chinese Tofu, Vegetable Fried Rice, Vegetable Dumplings
10.15 Tuesday – Spain – Seafood and Sausage Paella
10.16 Wednesday – Canada – Classic Poutine
10.17 Thursday – Nigeria – Jollof Rice with Braised Beef
10.18 Friday – France – Shrimp and Melted Leek Crepes
*With the exception of China, all of these items will be featured at the Chef’s Table at lunch only during the day! (China's dishes will also be served during dinner from 5pm-8pm at the Chef’s Table in the Commons)
