General Office Hours

For general information, check-in, document drop off/pick up, letter requests etc.:

Appointments: If you have questions, concerns, or issues you need to discuss with an international advisor, please call (504)865-5208, or e-mail ciss@tulane.edu for an appointment.

Appointments are scheduled Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Travel Abroad for International Students, Scholars, Faculty and Staff: If you are not a US citizen or Legal Permanent Resident and you plan to travel outside of the United States you will need to have OISS process your immigration paperwork to allow you to re-enter the United States.  You will need to submit a travel signature request, along with your immigration documentation.  Please allow at least three business days prior to your anticipated travel date for document processing and verification of your immigration status. If you do not allow three days, you will have to pay to ship your documents to your destination. In addition to these travel documents you will need a valid passport with a valid visa in order to reenter the United States.
