About the Center
The
Center for Global Education was established in the fall of 2007 to
harmonize the activities of inbound international students &
scholars with outbound study abroad students and foster globally
oriented discourse and scholarship at Tulane University.
Housing the Office of Study Abroad and the Office of International
Student & Scholar Services, the Center also organizes various
international programs for the campus and local communities including
International Education Week, International Studies symposia, film
screenings and more.
In
addition, the Center administers scholarship and grant programs, such
as Fulbright & Fulbright-Hays, NSEP, and Gilman, and supports
academic programs through external grants and faculty development
programs.
